Repair Terms & Conditions
1. Free Diagnostic
Stop to Fix offers free diagnostic services to identify the problem with your device.
The diagnostic result is based on the information available at the time of inspection. Some issues may only become apparent after repairs begin.
2. Approval for Repair
No repairs will be performed without your consent.
Once you approve the repair and cost estimate, work will begin.
Approved repairs are final – once work starts, cancellation may not be possible.
3. 30-Day Limited Warranty
All repairs include a 30-day warranty covering the parts and labor used in the repair.
This warranty is valid only if:
– The device shows no signs of physical damage after the repair (such as cracks, dents, water damage, or tampering).
– The issue is the same as the original repair.
Warranty does not cover:
– Accidental damage after pickup (drops, spills, impacts).
– Software issues, viruses, or data loss.
– Any repairs performed by another service provider after Stop to Fix completes service.
4. Data & Liability
Customers are responsible for backing up their data before repair. Stop to Fix is not liable for any data loss.
Stop to Fix will take all reasonable care when repairing your device, but we are not responsible for:
– Pre-existing damage to your device.
– Damage that occurs as a result of standard repair procedures (e.g., cracked screens during disassembly due to existing stress damage, failure of fragile parts).
– Loss of use, loss of profits, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from repair services.
By leaving your device for service, you agree that Stop to Fix’s total liability for any claim related to the repair shall not exceed the total amount paid for that repair.
5. Abandoned Devices
Devices not picked up within 30 days of notification of completed repair may be considered abandoned. Stop to Fix reserves the right to dispose of or recycle abandoned devices.
6. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the repair.
Accepted payment methods include cash, card, and other approved methods at the location.
